A beautiful native succulent. Hummingbirds and bumblebees Are attracted to flowers. One of the largest and majestic of the dudleyas. It is named by the white powder which coats the leaves for sun protection. 



Growth Form:  Rosette of wide, flat fleshy Pale Green Leaves. 1-2’ across at maturity. 

Light: Part Shade -Full Sun

Water: Grows well with regular water but can tolerate very low water, and drought conditions. 

Soil: pH 5-8 , well drained sandy loam 

Hardiness: USDA Zones 8-11 , Sunset Zones 14-24 , hardy to 18 -120 Degrees F

Type: Perennial, Slightly summer Deciduous 

Prefers To be planted on a slope at a 45-85degree angle. When planted at a Less than 45 Degree angle, Make sure not to fill the center with water.
